Overwhelmed? Welcome!

Three jobs, family, volunteering, school events, church, activities, trainings, conferences … sometimes it feels like the hamster-wheel never stops.

Finding a few moments for reflection helps put things in perspective. Random observations, chance recommendations, insights from friends, and “everyday philosophy” give us anchors to hold on to.

The best of these small meditations can turn around our entire mindset. More often, a tiny spark of warmth, gratitude, or just plain old recognition is all we get.

But sometimes, even that tiny spark is enough.
